The Island of Anglesey is one of dramatic coastline & beautiful countryside. A popular destination, the island is a key part of the Wales Coast Path which surrounds Anglesey. Beautiful towns such as Beaumaris and Amlwch provide a great seaside break, especially during summer seasons when boat trips and other excursions are available.
A short trip over the border from neighbouring England, and you’ll arrive in North East Wales. The region is home to the historic town of Llangollen – a beautiful town with a rich history. Just outside of Llangollen is North Wales’ only world heritage site, the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct, which is Britain’s highest and longest aqueduct. Visiting Wrexham is a must for shoppers – which provides one of the best shopping facilities in North Wales.
